Every duct cleaning covers the whole system. No upcharges for the "extra" vents.
Only if you want them. We'll tell you if we think you need one, and quote it on site.
Two homes on the same street can land at different ends of the range. Here's why.
The biggest factor. Each HVAC unit has its own ductwork, so two units means roughly twice the work.
More registers and longer duct runs take more time, which puts a home toward the top of its range.
Deodorizing, blower motor cleaning and coil cleaning are optional and priced separately.
Short straight runs are the cheapest. Long runs, roof vents and several 90-degree turns cost more.
Commercial systems vary too much for a flat price, so we quote them for free.
Surprise fees. The number we give you before we start is the number you pay.
Cleaning every trunk line, branch line and register in a home takes hours and a truck-mounted vacuum. Nobody can do that for $49 and stay in business. Those ads are built to get a crew through your door, and then the price climbs: "per vent" charges, mandatory sanitizing, a scary mold story.
Our price covers the whole system up front. If a quote sounds too good to be true, read this first.
At Duct Dudes, one zone (one HVAC unit) is $550–$700, and two zones are $800–$1,200. Homes with three or more zones get a custom quote over the phone.
A zone is one HVAC unit, meaning one furnace or air handler and the ductwork it feeds. Many homes have one. Bigger homes often have a second unit in the attic for the upstairs, and some have three.
Most homes are $175–$250. Simple, short runs start at $125. Long runs, roof vents and vents with several turns are at the higher end.
No. You get the price before we start. Every duct cleaning includes all trunk lines, all branch lines, every register and air cleaning of the lower part of the furnace.
A whole-house duct cleaning can't be done right for $49. Those ads usually get a crew in the door and then add charges once they're inside. Here's how to spot it.
About 2 hours for one zone, about 4 hours for two zones, and about an hour for a dryer vent.
Every 2–3 years for most homes, and every 2 years for commercial buildings. Dryer vents should be cleaned about once a year.
