Basic Protection Measures Against the New Corona Virus

Basic Protection Measures Against the New Corona Virus

These are all best practices we got during the first week of March 2020 from a United
States Navy Military Vessel.

  • Wash your hands frequently

Wash your hands with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub if
your hands are not visibly dirty.

Why?  Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub eliminates the virus if it is on your hands.

  • Practice respiratory Hygiene

When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or
tissue – discard tissue immediately into a closed lid bin and clean your hands
with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.

Why?  Covering your mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing prevent the spread of germs and viruses.  If you sneeze or cough into your hands, you
may contaminate objects or people that you touch.

  • Maintain Social Distancing

Maintain at least 1 meter distance between yourself and other people,
particularly those who are coughing, sneezing and have a fever.

Why?  When someone who is infected with a respiratory disease, like 2019-nCoV coughs or sneezes they  project small droplets containing the
virus.  If you are too close, you can breath in the virus.

If you are going to go through all the recommendations from the CDC you
might as well clean the HVAC in your home.  HVAC is the lungs of your home.  During times like this there is no harm in having your HVAC system at your home or business spotless and disinfected to the highest level.  Even just for a piece of mind.

It is important to protect your home or business through thorough cleaning and disinfecting of your HVAC with a treatment from Duct Dudes. After a full source removal, eliminating contaminants and particulate from your HVAC
duct work
and system components – including the blower motor and coils – ductwork will be fogged with our unscented, EPA-approved,
child and pet friendly anti-microbial treatment.

We also have another product called Sniper that can be fogged into your system.  Biodegradable, Fragrance Free, and Hypoallergenic, Hospital Disinfectant SNiPER is an antimicrobial cleaning and disinfecting agent which is a stabilized chlorine
dioxide product that is EPA Registered and is a safe, dependable ‘hospital’
disinfectant.  Easy and safe, for you and your family.

Good Practice for HVAC Maintenance Recommendations:

    commercial properties
  • Pay
attention to warning signs of “Sick Building Syndrome
  • Change
